Activities/Services
A robust schedule of activities and social outings, are masterfully planned by the fulltime activity director. Multiple daily activity selections offer residents variety ranging from routine bingo and exercise, including water aerobics in the indoor pool, and wellness programs, to stimulating entertainment, educational lectures and a lovely Sunday Brunch each month. The community Chaplain leads Bible studies, chapel services, and attends to the personal spiritual needs of each Resident. The flexible meal program available in the restaurant-style dining rooms provides residents with choices. Additional resident programs that help to customize their lifestyle include housekeeping and laundry services.

Building Description
Baptist Village - Youngtown is a cozy, tree-lined campus in a residential neighborhood offering active retirement living garden apartments, as well as assisted living suites, skilled nursing care and Alzheimer's care - all in one convenient location. This single level community offers two dining areas, heated indoor pool and spa, hair salon, on-site pharmacy, guest apartments and beautiful sunsets. Cook Health Care Center is conveniently located on the campus for nursing care if needed. The apartments feature all electric kitchens, emergency response systems, smoke detectors, individual temperature controls and patios.
This campus offers three GREEN HOUSE® homes which are a unique approach to Assisted Living. The Green Houses provide personal and directed care services in a comfortable home setting. Their welcoming environment virtually eliminates the three most prevalent plagues of old age- loneliness, helplessness, and boredom.
Monthly Rates
The monthly fees include: utilities, cable TV, shuttle van transportation, covered parking, and a washer/dryer in some apartments. The noon meal is included with some apartments. Affordable services that are available include housekeeping, and monthly dining packages. A security deposit is required with each lease; additional deposits for pets and smoking. Assisted living rates include private rooms, three meals a day, housekeeping and laundry weekly, medication management and personal care services.
