Welcome to Heritage Home Of Florence! Heritage Home strives to provide the highest quality care to each and every resident. Whether your loved one is suffering from a prolonged acute or chronic illness, has been injured or has recently undergone surgery, our dedicated staff can help through every stage of recovery and rehabilitation. In addition to short- and long-term custodial care, Heritage Home also provides palliative care and sub-acute care to patients with complex medical conditions. We have our own contracted Medical Director — a trained gerontologist who understands the social, psychological and biological aspects of aging — to oversee care protocols and ensure quality of care. The Heritage Home Medical Director works closely with a patient’s care team, which includes a licensed physician, nurses and, if required, occupational and physical therapists. We have relationships with several doctors at local hospitals, or patients can choose their own physicians. We contract with a local pharmacy to furnish all medicines.
