Welcome to Haven Convalescent Home! Our 91 bed skilled nursing facility has been privately owned and operated by the Tanner family since 1958. We offer short-term and long-term care in a private, semi-private and four bed room. Our facility is state-licensed and Medicare and Medicaid certified. Our mission has always been to treat our resident’s and their family members like our own.
At The Haven Convalescent Home, our ultimate goal is to provide the highest quality of care possible and treat your loved one as if they are our own family members. We understand how difficult it may be to place your loved one into a nursing home and we are here with you every step of the way to ensure that they feel right at home while they are staying with us. We strive not only to meet but exceed the expectations of every resident and family that we serve. We take pride in our reputation as the only family owned and operated nursing facility in the area.
We have had a 5 Star Rating for the past two years. The Star Rating is based on three different aspects from the Pennsylvania Department of Health. Our success is a result from our excellent staff and administration. Our staff consists of Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Certified Nursing Assistants and a Licensed Dietitian. We have been consistently well above the state average for CMI which is the standard for patient care in skilled nursing facilities.
From therapy services to recreational activities, we take pride in the care that we give to our resident’s and families.
