The Willows offers an array of apartment styles - from studios to two-bedrooms -
which can comfortably accommodate single residents or couples. Every floor plan
includes an emergency call system, a full bath with walk-in shower, and a
modified kitchen with refrigerator. Residents can decorate their apartments to
reflect their own unique style and tastes to feel right at home. Residents can
also enjoy three meals a day in a private dining room within The Willows.
When assistance is needed, caregivers are available around the clock to lend a
hand with dressing, bathing, check-ins through the day, or safe transit to a
Friendship Village destination.

Year after year, the staff turnover rate at Briarwood is well below statewide

and therapists are continuously educated as part of our on-going “Spirit of
Excellence” program to improve the experience and lives of residents.
Part of our commitment to our residents is providing the highest level of
service and creating innovative new ways to provide superior care. Our
nationally recognized fall prevention program that familiarizes all Friendship
Village employees with dangerous falling situations for high-risk residents
helped to decrease falls and injuries related to falls by 50%. We also offer
restorative therapy as well as services such as pain control, wound care, and
physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Briarwood is a Medicare-certified healthcare center and accredited by the
Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities - one of only 14 in the
Chicagoland area to earn that status. Friendship Village was the first
retirement community in Illinois to earn accreditation and the only one to be
reaccredited four times.

As a CCRC, Friendship Village offers a range of living
options, including residential living, assisted living, memory support and
skilled care. Regardless of what life brings, Friendship Village can offer the
right living accommodation at the right time. The Friendship Village life care
plan provides discounts on healthcare and provides lifetime access to assisted
living, memory support and skilled care, all on site.
For older adults who want to live independently but enjoy the security of a CCRC,
we offer independent living neighborhoods - the apartment homes of Bridgegate,
and Bridgewater Place, as well as the garden homes of Crosswell Trace. When a
little extra help is needed, residents call The Willows Assisted Living home. We
also offer exceptional skilled care in Briarwood Healthcare Center. Both The
Willows and Briarwood provide memory support services through our Reflections
program.

The Reflections memory support program offers a range of
choices for those living with memory loss due to Alzheimer's, Parkinson's or
other forms of dementia. Our philosophy of care draws from a unique blend of
Montessori principles and the "Best Friends Approach to Alzheimer's Care," which
teaches caregivers to interact in ways that are non-threatening, non-critical
and supportive-just as if they were your loved one's best friends. It’s a
personal approach to care that focuses on what works best for each individual
resident. Reflections residences are surrounded by vibrant gardens and bright
open space where residents can spend time with loved ones.
- Reflections at The Willows is for those with early-
to mid-stage memory loss. In this beautifully remodeled, secure neighborhood
of Friendship Village, residents live in their own private apartment homes
and enjoy all of the benefits of The Willows, while receiving extra support
for their memory loss. Apartment offerings include studios, alcoves, and
one-bedroom models.
- Reflections at Briarwood offers secure 24-hour
skilled care for those with mid- to late-stage loss. Our resident rooms have
all been freshly renovated in the same color palette as Reflections at The
Willows, to provide more familiar surroundings for residents who are moving
from The Willows. Our approach to care is activity-focused, providing
residents with a safe, soothing and therapeutic environment. At the same
time, we offer families and friends support for their needs.

Bridgewater Place, the newest neighborhood featuring one- and two-bedroom
apartment homes. Set along the shore of one of the community’s beautiful
ponds, this stunning, six-story structure houses 170 light-filled one- and
two-bedroom apartment homes, with open floor plans and nine-foot ceilings. Each
layout offers a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, microwave, full-size
refrigerator and stove, task lighting, and washer/dryer. Many Bridgewater Place
apartments offer outstanding views - of Friendship Village's 60-acre wooded
campus and even of Chicago's skyline. Some even offer special features,
including lakefront terraces, bay windows or balconies. Regardless of apartment

Bridgegate, studio, alcove, one-bedroom and two-bedroom

roofs, covered entries, porches and patios. Inside, the ranch-style homes are
equally as charming. Crosswell Trace offers four floor plans ranging in size
