The Elms Retirement Center offers a complete range of services including a full activities program, beauty and barber shop, dietary services, weekly housekeeping and 24-hour security. We realize that this is your home and we are here to be of service to you.
The Elms is located in the downtown core in the City of Forest Grove, Oregon. It stands next to the Forest Grove Senior Center and is just a block away from Pacific University. The Tri-Met Bus line stops on the corner of the South end of the building. The newly renovated Forest Grove Library lies three blocks away.
The building is four stories with two elevators for easy access. The apartments include Studio, One-Bedroom, and Two Bedroom units. They all have patios or decks for outside enjoyment.
The Elms' location makes it very easy to walk downtown for shopping in either direction. The facility has a very nice bus for transporting residents to Bank, Post Office, Grocery Stores, Shopping, and outside lunches and activities such as the Casino.
The Elms offers 24 hour security and emergency service to all residents. Each resident is called on the intercom daily if he/she has not been seen by 10 am. We have been able to handle many problems through this practice. Our activity program offers in-house as well as outside programs. There is a special Birthday Dinner every month for Birthdays.

Each resident is required to purchase 30 meals a month with the option to purchase 60 meals. This meal program offers great flexibility since can eat one or both meals. The resident may choose to eat either Lunch or Dinner on the 30 meal program. At Lunch or Dinner you may select a complete meal or eat Soup and Sandwich.
The Senior Center next door offers Breakfast, for a small fee, if Residents need a third meal. Bingo and other card games are played weekly. The Center also plans longer trips plus a weekly trip to the Casino at Spirit Mountain.
The local owners have been privately operating this facility for almost 20 years. The Staff is very experienced and serves the people well.
The Rental fee is one of the lowest in the State and a good value for the services.
