Central Manor, is an apartment complex of 154 units designed to provide housing for very low income elderly. It is owned and operated by Central Manor, Inc., a non-profit corporation operating under the rules and regulations of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

We are located in the heart of Daytona Beach, just a short
walk to the intercoastal water way and only minutes from the beach. Our
subsidized senior housing community offers one bedroom-one bath apartment homes.
The kitchens are spacious with full size ranges and two door refrigerators. Many
of our apartment homes offer a view of the intercoastal and glorious sun rises.
Others have a wonderful view of the sunset. Our community has a laundry facility
with all new coin operated machines. A browsing library is on site, which is
open 24-7. There is a Service Coordinator to help our senior citizens with
Social Security, medical insurance and other related concerns.

How old do you have to be?
Applicants must be at least 62 years of age or require the features of an
accessible apartment.
How much rent do I pay?
The maximum you will pay for rent will be 30% of your adjusted gross income.
Are the apartments furnished?
So that your apartment will truly look like your own home, you will bring your
own furniture and familiar possessions and furnishings.
What is provided with the apartment?
Each apartment kitchen is spacious and furnished with a refrigerator and stove. In addition
each apartment is provided with carpets, blinds, and central heat and air
conditioning.
What safety features are included with the apartments?
All apartments have a built in smoke detector and fire sprinkler system. The
bathrooms are equipped with grab bars.
Will residents be able to control heating and air
conditioning in the apartments?
Yes, for complete comfort, each apartment has individual central heating and air
conditioning unit with your own controls.
How big are the apartments?
All of the apartments have a large living-room/dining-area combination, kitchen,
one bedroom, and bath. With good closet space.
What about laundry facilities?
A laundry room is conveniently located on the main floor; coin-operated washers and
dryers are provided and are available 24 hours a day for your convenience.
What services and activities are available?
Recreational areas for card-playing and other community activities are provided.
A common lounge is available for quiet conversation. Assistance is offered in
locating area social services available to the residents, and periodic in-house
activities, both educational and recreational, are planned. The complex is
designed as a community of caring, concerned, active and helpful adults.
Public transportation, shopping, and banking facilities are nearby. The Post
Office and several churches are only a short distance away.
What about the accessible units?
Some apartments are specifically designed for persons with mobility impairments.
