Assisted living residents are those who do not need skilled nursing care, but may need assistance with some aspects of daily life.
This can include personal care such as dressing and grooming, monitoring of health, safety, and overall well-being, coordination of outside health care providers, assistance with medication, companionship, and more.
Our assisted living residents at Carriage House Senior Living have their own private apartments within our community so that they have the support and services they need, while continuing to be as independent and active as possible.
Bridge to Rediscovery is our unique approach to caring for residents with Alzheimer’s or other types of memory loss. This award-winning program aims to help each resident continue engaging in activities and with others around them.
Through Bridge to Rediscovery, we work throughout each day to encourage residents to rediscover skills and interests, and to achieve small successes in everything they do. Everyone wants to feel valuable and connected, and Bridge to Rediscovery helps our residents -- no matter their level -- find that connection again.
Carriage House Senior Living also offer short-term stays for seniors who need care after a hospital stay, or when family members travel out of town or simply need a short respite break from the stresses of care giving.
Short-term stays can vary from a week to months. Short-term guests enjoy housekeeping services, dining, community activities, transportation and other amenities, as well as coordination of any necessary medical care and help with daily living activities.
