Centrally located in West Seattle’s Highland Park neighborhood, Arrowhead Gardens offers seniors affordable rental housing that is just 10 minutes from beautiful Lincoln Park, Westwood Village shopping center and downtown Seattle. Our senior apartments are both age- and income-restricted. Arrowhead Gardens is owned and operated by the Senior Housing Assistance Group (SHAG), a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating quality, affordable rental housing for seniors. SHAG has been serving mature adults across the Puget Sound region from Bellingham to Olympia since 1988.
All of our one- and two-bedroom apartment homes are handicap-accessible, pet friendly and come complete with full-size appliances, including dishwashers, ample storage space and window coverings. Select homes also feature washer/dryer hook-ups and a patio or balcony. Each building at Arrowhead Gardens houses a variety of common areas that are open for use by all residents. Our professional community managers live right on site to ensure that residents have everything they need to enjoy retirement living. Our community also has a robust daily activity calendar and a community van that shuttles groups of residents to and from errands and social activities. To become a resident at Arrowhead Gardens, applicants must be 55 years or older with at least one member of the household aged 61 years or older by the end of the current year or be disabled. Annual household income may not exceed $36,960 for one-person or $42,240 for two-people. Income is verified annually.
