Arbor Assisted Living

Arbor Oaks is the ideal choice for seniors who want to maintain their independent in a comfortable, homelike setting. Close to shopping, professional offices and entertainment. Arbor Oaks offers a wide range of social and recreational opportunities, as well as many other services and conveniences.

Personalized Arbor Assisted Living Services Fees (Level of Care)

To ensure continuity of care, Arbor Oaks offers a full range of personalized assisted living services (Level of Care). These services provide residents additional support with the Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), which include bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulating, dining and incontinence management. The Personalized Assisted Living Services fees are based on the level of care the resident requires; that is, the extent of assistance the resident needs to perform his or her ADLs and whether he or she needs to be “cued” or reminded to carry out these activities. Our resident care staff, in consultation with the resident’s personal physician, will assess the resident’s specific needs prior to his or her moving to Arbor Oaks. The fees for our different levels of care are as follows and are in addition to the base monthly rent:

Personalized level of Care Descriptions

Arbor Living-Designed for residents who need minimal personal assistance, but need the security, warmth and social environment offered by Arbor Oaks. Includes:

• State of the art emergency call system with 24-hours response
• Three nutritious meals served restaurant style
• A variety of stimulating activities, social events and outings
• Scheduled medical and shopping transportation
• Weekly housekeeping services
• Weekly laundering of personal items
• Weekly laundering of bed and bath linens
• Routine and preventative maintenance of apartment, common areas and grounds, including all necessary repairs and replacements
• Round-the-clock availability of a caring, trained professional staff
• Access to Arbor’s wellness program supervised by a licensed nurse
• A caring professional staff

Arbor Living Plus-Includes all Arbor Living services plus daily medication management.

Arbor Supportive Living-Includes all Arbor Living services and additional assistance when needed in the following areas:

• Activity and mealtime reminders
• Assistance to and from dining and other activities scheduled assistance into and out of the shower twice a week
• Coaching on daily dressing and grooming activities(i.e. shaving and brushing hair)

Arbor Supportive Living Plus-Includes all Arbor supportive Living services plus daily medication management.

Arbor Enhanced Living-Includes all Arbor Supportive Living services plus additional assistance when needed in the following areas:

• Full assistance at meals (i.e. cutting meats and using condiments)
• Scheduled full assistance with three or more showers weekly
• Fully assistance with dressing and grooming (i.e. shaving, brushing hair and teeth)
• Support with transfers which involve the assistance of one person

Arbor Enhanced Living Plus-Includes all Arbor Enhanced Living services plus daily medication management.

Safety is important to Arbor Oaks residents and their families, so every suite can be accessed from both the living area and bathroom. In addition, grab bars are provided in the bathroom.

Numerous features are standard at Arbor Oaks so comfort and convenience never cost extra.

Comfortable surroundings are everywhere at Arbor Oaks, from our spacious apartments to our beautifully landscaped grounds. A choice of suite styles ensures that residents will enjoy a living arrangement that promotes independence and meets individual tastes and desires. At Arbor Oaks, each resident decorates his or her own suite with personal furnishings and accessories so that it truly becomes a place to call home.

Arbor Oaks offers a choice of suites that helps to foster a comfortable lifestyle. The two-room suites provide the most space, with a den and private bedroom. Our one-room suites offer a choice of nine different styles.

For the utmost in convenience, each suite features individual climate controls, adjustable blinds, spacious closets, and a large private bathroom, and all apartments, except those in the Evergreen Program, have a refrigerator.

All suites sizes are approximate and may vary.

Arbor Evergreen-Arbor Evergreen is a highly specialized program for Alzheimer ’s disease and other dementia-related conditions. This program includes:

• A custom-designed neighborhood with its own dining, living and activities areas
• Individual plan of care for each resident
• Dedicated Program Director
• Caring staff trained according to the Alzheimer's Association guidelines
• Medication supervision provided by a licensed nurse
• Engaging activities program which  integrates daily tasks of living
• Secured and monitored entries and exits
• Family support program endorsed by Alzheimer's Association
• Arbor Evergreen Plus  includes additional caregiver staffing for individuals requiring more extensive physical support or behavioral intervention and incontinence management

Respite Care-Respite Care is a short term assisted living service available just when you need it the most. It you are planning a vacation, someone you loved one is safe and cared for. A respite stay offers you the perfect solution.

Day Care-Hours of day care operation are approximately 8:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Additional time is available for $10 per hour and must prearranged with staff. Three meals per day, plus snacks are included in the daily rate.
