Services

Our program provides a little extra help with the activities of daily living for the person who can’t live at home any longer, but does not need nursing home care. Our philosophy is one of maximizing independence while providing necessary assistance. Our home practices the principles of resident choice, autonomy, independence, individuality, and privacy.

Many of our residents move in to relieve the pressures of living alone. How many times do you just not feel like cooking a meal, or is it getting more difficult to remember if you took your medication as the doctor ordered? Summer time brings yard mowing, tree trimming and watering. Winter brings snow, ice and the isolation of staying at home.

The three illnesses that plague nursing homes are loneliness, helplessness and boredom. Through the many inter-generational programs and other activities provided, Windsor Place staff and the community do their best to combat these illnesses and keep the elders healthy.

Making the decision to move into our Assisted Living program takes the pressures out of your life. Residents and their guests are welcome to come and go as they choose.
