Washington Square Co - op, built in 1984, consists of 14 floors and has 238 one bedroom apartments.

We are a property management company that specializes in affordable housing for senior citizens. A limited number of apartments are available for younger persons who are physically disabled and need the special design features of a unit designed for the mobility impaired. Call for eligibility requirements.

Washington Square is minutes away from downtown Kalamazoo, with bus service at our front door. We have a meal site in the building, a van to take residents on shopping trips and cable T.V. There is a library and farmer's market within walking distance. Come join our building and make some friends.

All apartments have been modernized with all new Energy Star appliances, new cabinets and a garbage disposal. All bathrooms feature new medicine cabinets and lighting.

"The folks here are friendly, and eager to converse with you. The head office is always receptive to any problems which you may have and tries to help you resolve them. The laundromat in the building saves one the trouble of going out to do laundry. The library is here for the bookworm. The rec. room functions as a place for many activities, such as the council meetings, staged dinners and visiting entertainment. The apartments are efficient to meet one's every need."
