Vehicle Registration

Registration fee is $8.00 or $8.25, depending on where you live, a $1.50 Air Quality Fee, plus the vehicle license tax (VLT). There may also be a weight fee, depending on the vehicle. To register your out-of-state vehicle you will a signed title application, Emission and Inspection Tests (obtained from certified gas stations or repair shops where tests are done), out-of-state title or registration, and your out-of-state license plates.

Voter Registration

Mail-in order forms are available at government offices and driver’s license offices. You must be registered 29 days prior to an election in order to vote in that election.

Pets

All dogs must be licensed annually. New residents must have their dogs vaccinated and licensed within 30 days of moving. Parvovirus is a potentially fatal disease affecting Maricopa Communities, make sure your dog is vaccinated for the disease. Never leave your animals in a car for any length of time, interior temps can quickly reach over 215 degrees fahrenheit.
